2026 Naples & Amalfi Coast Workshop
What a week! Incredible weather, tremendously diverse places and wonderful ways of thinking about the way photography can interpret place, emotion and personal expression were our companions during this inaugural workshop in Naples and the Amalfi Coast.
There was a lot to photograph, of course, but the greater challenge was trying to make visual sense of the vast difference between the chaotic madness of Naples and the sublime calm of Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. In between was the awesome impact of the history of Pompeii and its incredible story of people who lived beautifully and perished tragically.
Some really fine images resulted from this week, with so many different and varied approaches to telling the stories that my crew of workshoppers wanted to tell.
